Again today I hit the snooze button a couple of times and woke up at 6:45 a.m.
wanting to sleep some more. It's that time of the month ! Sigh ! But I have
decided that I am not going to allow myself any excuse. So I went for the walk.
The initial 1-1/2 kms. were difficult. Later I settled into a rhythm and
finished my 5 kms. much easily than expected and in the usual time.
After
that I popped in at Mom's to weigh myself. I had not weighed myself on last
Sunday and I was hoping that I have lost 2 kgs. within the last two weeks. But,
the weight loss is 1.5 kgs. Now I'm hoping it is due to water retention ! :) If
by next Sunday this doesn't sort itself out, I think I'll have to up my game.
Perhaps my body is settling at this 5 kms. thing. Let's see.

your weight loss of 1.5 kg is super :) but 8-10 dates in milk for lunch???
how do you eat so little ya? don't you get a headache?
:) that 1.5 kg is over 2 weeks when I had hoped for 2. But, I'm not complaining. At this stage any weight loss is good :))))
Actually, I suspect that I have a low metabolic rate :( Also, that day my activity levels were non-existent. I was at home all day and did no strenuous work at all. Perhaps that is why that much food was sufficient. I had thought that if I felt hungry later, I would make myself some salad at 4:30 p.m. or so. But somehow I just didn't feel hungry !
